The San Antonio Marathon, first held in 1994, is an annual marathon held in San Antonio, Texas, United States. The race is organized by the San Antonio Highway Runners and is held on the primary Sunday of December. The marathon begins and finishes on the Alamodome.
The San Antonio Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier and is among the largest marathons in america. In 2022, over 20,000 runners participated within the race. The marathon can also be a well-liked vacation spot for charity runners, with over $1 million raised for native charities in 2022.
